Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Possess a current valid driver's license.
• Ability to carry and use a firearm, with mandatory firearm proficiency.
• Age requirements: At least 21 years old at the time of application and less than 37 years old upon receiving a conditional offer, unless applicable federal service exemptions apply.
• Veterans must receive a conditional offer before turning 40 to continue the application process.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, with corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
• Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in specified ranges.
• Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and undergo random testing during employment.
• Complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA, followed by 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
• Sign a mobility agreement indicating willingness to relocate for assignments within the U.S. and overseas.
• Certification of registration with the Selective Service System for male applicants born after December 31, 1959.
