Position: Camp Counselor

Department: TRO - Thomas Road Outpost

Reports To: TRO Camp Directors

FLSA Status: (Non-Exempt)

Mission: To assist in developing Christ followers who love God and love people by using outdoor recreation as your guide.

Job Goal: To facilitate and oversee students in various activities. To give of your time and energy with the goal of making disciples and to boldly use the gospel in every avenue at camp. It is your sole responsibility to engage with the students and counsel 10-12 students in a cabin weekly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience, Skills, and Key Attributes)
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Previous experience working with kids is encouraged not required
• Must be able to participate in physical outdoor activities
• If a facilitator; must be 18 years of age or older
