Senior Backend Engineer (Remote – U.S.)

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who's excited to roll up their sleeves and design, build, and ship features that power core systems at scale. You'll join a small, collaborative engineering team working on high-impact backend projects with plenty of autonomy and technical ownership.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement backend systems that handle complex data and scale efficiently

• Lead key platform initiatives from concept to deployment

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and support teams to deliver customer-focused features

• Communicate effectively with engineers across multiple time zones and backgrounds

• Work in an environment that values ownership, curiosity, and shipping clean, maintainable code

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience (Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, or similar)

• A strong programmer who wants to code — this is a hands-on technical role

• Experience delivering large, complex features or systems

• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across distributed teams

• Familiarity with large-scale data systems (ETL/ELT, event-driven systems, database design) a plus

• Some UI or frontend experience is a bonus, but the focus is 100% backend-first

• Experience with AWS, Postgres, or Clickhouse is nice to have, not required
