We are seeking a skilled Solderer to perform precision hand soldering operations, including the assembly of components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and touch-up work. The ideal candidate will have experience working to high-quality standards and possess the technical ability to interpret documentation and ensure compliance with customer and industry specifications.
Key Responsibilities

  • Hand solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards using proper techniques.
  • Perform touch-up soldering to correct defects and ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Work under magnification or a microscope for detailed, precision tasks.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, written work instructions, and routers accurately.
  • Ensure all soldering work complies with customer requirements and electronic quality standards.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in soldering electronic components and/or printed circuit boards.
  • Proficiency in using a magnifier or microscope for detailed soldering work.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality results.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical documents and assembly instructions.
  • Mechanically inclined with steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current or prior solder certification.
  • Familiarity with IPC and/or military soldering standards.
  • Background or training in electronics or electrical assembly.
Additional Information
  • This position requires working with small, delicate components on PCBs, often under a scope.
  • The work area may include multiple pieces of equipment and can be moderately noisy.
  • A soldering test will be conducted during the interview process to evaluate technical proficiency.
