Key Responsibilities:

  • Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
  • Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
  • Performs pre-use inspections on all lift trucks prior to first use each shift.
  • Safely operates forklift with all attachments fork, turn-a-fork, clamp & probe.
  • Handles product with care to avoid damage to material or storage racks.
  • Verifies product packaging and labeling; collaborates with shift supervisor to correct discrepancies.
  • Keeps warehouse organized by moving products to assigned areas or reassigning areas as needed.
  • Coordinates transportation of finished goods, WIP materials, packaging, and supplies between machine centers and warehouse.
  • Assists with wrapping of materials off machines as needed.
  • Implements and sustains 5S within the warehouse.
  • Monitors lift drivers to ensure safety and organization of materials.
  • Utilizes computer systems to track inventory, update material movement logs, and generate basic reports.
  • Operates warehouse management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) to support daily operations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training.
  • At least one year of previous forklift experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Basic computer proficiency required, including experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or warehouse management software is a plus.
