Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and help to maintain a secure environment.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate relevant security-related information.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials as appropriate for a manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
