About the Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician , you'll play a key role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of two commercial properties, with time split approximately 60/40 between two locations . This role involves a mix of mechanical systems maintenance , HVAC preventive care , janitorial duties , and inventory management . You'll be part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, supporting building operations through hands-on work, system checks, and customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.

  • Conduct life safety system checks and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

  • Maintain landscaping and lawn care at designated locations.

  • Carry out janitorial duties such as restroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, restocking consumables, and break room/kitchen upkeep.

  • Manage inventory of janitorial supplies, coffee, and other consumables.

  • Use the CMMS system to assign work orders, build schedules, and track task completion.

  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and building occupants.

  • Follow defined procedures and safety standards under supervision.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and standing/walking for extended periods.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
