The College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences is seeking a motivated System Administrator to support secure, compliant, and well-managed technology systems across the College. This position administers and maintains the Colleges endpoint management platformsJamf, Intune, and Big. Fixas well as Active Directory, identity-protection tools, and College servers, including HIPAA-related systems. The System Administrator plays a key role in system deployments, security updates, OS and application patching, server configuration and maintenance, and ensuring devices meet Virginia Techs Minimum Security Standards. This role collaborates closely with the CLAHS CTO and IT management and staff to test, deploy, and maintain updates, policies, and services that support a stable technology environment.
