Patent Agent or Attorney (5G and wireless standards) - Remote

Join Kubota & Basol LLP. We are looking for patent attorneys or agents who can immediately contribute to a new, growing 5G standards practice. The role requires registration with the USPTO and a minimum of two years of full?time experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications as outside counsel, directed to 4G, 5G, and 6G technical submissions to the 3GPP Communication Standards Organization. Experience preparing claim charts that map claims to the 3GPP Communication Standards is also required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications related to 4G, 5G, and 6G technical submissions.
• Prepare claim charts that map claims to the 3GPP Communication Standards.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on patent strategy and best practices.

Qualifications

• USPTO registration required.
• Minimum 2 years of full?time experience in patent drafting and prosecution.
• Proficient with 3GPP technical standards and claim chart preparation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Compensation and Location

Salary: $100,000 $160,000 per year. Remote, with preference for proximity to Los Angeles or Northern Virginia offices. Full?time, entry level.
