What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed security-related protocols as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
