Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technologist – OB/GYN & General Shift: Day 4x10 | 07:00–17:00 (Float Shift) Schedule: Primarily M–F 1st/2nd shift; occasional weekend day; occasional night Hours: 40 hrs/week Call: Required – rotation with staff Weekends: Occasional Sat/Sun day shift Holidays: 1 per 13-week contract RTO: Must be submitted with profile Charting: Epic (required) Locals: Not accepted First-Time Travelers: Yes — minimum 5 years experience Call-Off Policy: Up to 1 shift per 2 weeks Requirements Certs: ARDMS, BLS Experience: OB/GYN all trimesters, fetal anatomy surveys; general abdominal, pelvic, vascular, small parts, portable studies Preferred: Pediatric ultrasound experience Facility Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital – 703-bed Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, advanced Maternal Fetal Medicine program with NICU.
