The Montague lab at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute in Roanoke, VA is seeking a part time Research Assistant. The Montague lab focuses on computational neuroscience. Approaches to this research include theoretical, computational, and experimental with focus on mental health and its effect on disease/injury. The successful candidate should be detail oriented, enjoy a fast-paced research environment, and have some prior experience in a lab setting. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of basic computer skills, record keeping and experience with data collection is preferred. There is opportunity for the candidate to gain experience in a professional research setting. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in lab meetings, analyze data with supervision, and assist in data collection under the supervision of senior lab members.
