Join a personal care manufacturer who is seeking a chemical compounder who will be responsible for precisely weighing and mixing raw materials to produce liquid compounds for personal care products like skincare, haircare, and fragrances.

Shifts Available: 2nd/3rd (3pm-11pm, M-F) OR (11pm-7am, M-F)
Type: Contract to hire
Rate: $20-$21/hr dependent on shift
Location: Roanoke, VA

What You'll Do:

• Accurately weigh and mix raw materials according to established formulas and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and safety standards.
• Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate equipment for precise production runs.
• Conduct quality control tests to verify product consistency and integrity.
• Document production data for batch records and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance following standard operating procedures.
• Support the training and onboarding of new compounders.
• Responsibilities may vary slightly depending on location.

Education & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience in chemical compounding or production
