Responsibilities include:
Work involves the application of professional construction project management skills. Assigns and reviews work of others. Provides guidance, direction and maintenance of workflow. Refers only the most complex issues and problems to the supervisor. Regularly communicates with contractors, regulators, vendors, and Carillion staff. Manages budget for major projects including formation of cost containment initiatives. Decides whether actions are in compliance with laws, guidelines and/or policies. Sets precedents which influence decision-making, while oversight is provided by manager, compliance officer or other higher-level employee. Impact of work is service line or system wide. Must provide own transportation and travel to other Carillion work sites. Evening and weekend work may be required.
What We Require:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering architecture, construction administration, or equivalent 8 years of experience. Experience: Five years of experience in facilities management, design, construction, interior design or related field required. Healthcare experience preferred. Licensure/Certifications/Registration: Virginia Driver's license. A professional license required as appropriate for education. Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), problem solving and teamwork skills required. Ability to work in a diplomatic manner with diverse clientele, technical professionals, contractors and vendors. Position requires self-discipline, motivation and ability to make decisions under pressure. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. PMI membership desirable. May be required to travel to multiple Carillion work sites.
