I have a client located in Daleville, VA who has an immediate need for a Survey CAD Technician. The Survey CAD Technician will work closely with the survey department to process field data, create and maintain accurate base drawings, and prepare survey plats, boundary maps, and topographic plans. This role will be fully in-office and focused on supporting field crews and engineers by converting collected survey data into detailed CAD drawings and deliverables.

This is a temp-to-perm position with strong potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Survey CAD Technician, Survey Drafter, or related role
• Proficient in AutoCAD (or comparable CAD software)
• Ability to process field data, create base files, and complete redline revisions
• Understanding of land surveying principles and data management
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with GIS or other survey data platforms is a plus
