Our Client Is Hiring: Accounts Receivable Accountant

Roanoke, VA • Full-Time

Our client, a specialty construction contractor, is seeking a construction-savvy Accounts Receivable Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy matters. If you love organized numbers, clean billings, and working with a team that communicates, you'll feel right at home.

What You'll Do

• Run full-cycle AR for multiple projects/divisions.
• Process high-volume billing with precision-AIA billing, progress billings, retention, and T&M
• Manage lien waivers, compliance docs, and project billing requirements
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and keep AR aging clean
• Partner with PMs and Billing Coordinators to resolve issues quickly
• Stay on top of the AR inbox and customer updates
• Work in Sage 300 / Sage Paperless (nice-to-have)

What You Bring

• Previous AR experience - construction industry strongly preferred
• Proven ability to stay accurate under high volume and tight deadlines
• Hands-on experience with AIA billing, retention, job costs, and project billing workflows
• Strong Excel + Outlook skills
• Detail-driven, organized, and a clear, friendly communicator
