DAY SHIFT!! - Maintenance Technician

Black Bear Talent is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a blend of electrical and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.

Hours are Monday - Friday from 7AM - 4:30PM.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various facilities systems, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications.
• Engage in residential painting duties to maintain aesthetic standards of the facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required
• High School Diploma required additional schooling and training preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial or manufacturing facilities, maintenance practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in both speaking and writing in English for effective communication.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot various equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with painting techniques to enhance facility appearance.
