What We Need

We are looking for a talented Controls Automation Engineer to enhance our team. This position is perfect for an individual with extensive experience in controls engineering who is enthusiastic about solving challenging problems and achieving impactful results. Your efforts will significantly influence system performance, reliability, and the overall experience our clients have with automation controls.

What You'll Do

  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA-based control systems for industrial and municipal applications.
  • Create HMI/SCADA interfaces using platforms like Ignition, Wonderware, or VTScada.
  • Work hand-in-hand with project managers, panel builders, and field technicians to ensure smooth integration and project execution.
  • Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and startup of control systems.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing systems to boost performance, efficiency, and safety.
  • Provide technical support and produce documentation for clients and team members.
  • Engage in project planning, estimation, and specification development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in controls or automation engineering.
  • Expertise in programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.) and developing SCADA/HMI systems.
  • Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
  • Experience with process control systems, instrumentation, and field integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally for on-site support and system startups.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
