Job Details

This position will lead Carilion Clinic's Oncology Navigation Team. Within area of responsibility, collaborates with senior management, directors, physicians, nursing, allied health staff, patients and vendors internal and external to the health care environment to work through processes and situations. Decisions have impact on quality of services and care, fiscal results, attainment of goals and development and retention of employees. Provides leadership for and monitors operational goals, objectives and budgets for multiple similar departments. Responsibilities include planning of budget, monitoring of revenues, patient care indicators and manage operating costs. Communicates, organizes, prioritizes, leads, facilitates, coaches and problem solves with reporting staff to ensure that goals, objectives, and budgets are met.
