Our client, a leading organization in logistics and warehousing, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Support team supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Daleville, VA Pay Range: $16 Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

What's the Job?

  • Operate sit-down forklift to pick, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including paperwork and RF scanner usage
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks to ensure timely deliveries
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety meetings
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory movements

What's Needed?

  • Experience in forklift operation or willingness to learn and pass a forklift test
  • Ability to handle paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Strong attention to safety procedures and policies
  • Willingness to attend safety meetings and training sessions
  • Availability to work flexible days including weekends
