Currently, we are seeking full-time Bartender. The pay rate is $6.45 plus tips. During the training period, your hourly rate of pay will be $15/hour.
Weekend availability is a MUST. No exceptions. The successful candidate must also be available to work evenings, nights, holidays, and Hokie game days.
The Lounge Bartender will take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. He/she also will maintain stock/supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment.

Education and Experience: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent. Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. 1-year experience as a Server or Barback preferred but not required. Must have good understanding of the English language. Knowledge of various drink recipes and beverage service standards. Certification of previous training in liquor, wine, and food service. Certification in an alcohol awareness program. Certification in CPR. Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system. Previous guest/customer relations training.
