Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler (CA, EDS, PNR I) to join our production team in Roanoke, VA. The Assembler is responsible for securing, mounting, and assembling parts using both hand and power tools, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble, secure, and mount parts using hand tools, power tools, or air-powered equipment
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts as needed to support production requirements
  • Follow all established safety procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
  • Read and interpret production orders, work instructions, and material lists to complete assigned tasks accurately
  • Apply paint, polish, sandpaper, or lubricants to finish and prepare products for shipment
  • Lift products on and off the production line and assist with packaging, labeling, and tagging of finished goods
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and quality standards are met
  • Inspect completed assemblies to verify accuracy and quality according to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and report any equipment or process issues to supervision
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and stand for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and body movements
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to read and understand written work instructions, drawings, or production documents
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Mechanical knowledge of machines, tools, and assembly processes
  • Understanding of production, processing, and quality control principles
  • Strong active listening, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to coordinate actions effectively with teammates and adapt to workflow needs
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in monitoring equipment operation and identifying performance issues
  • Manual dexterity and precision in handling small parts and tools
  • Ability to distinguish colors and detect variations in shades or brightness
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Experience
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred but not required
