Profile and Responsibilities:
This position requires superior attention to detail and an ability to work within a manufacturing ERP system to input and process information related to accounts receivable billing, purchase order and sales orders. The person in this position takes work seriously, is highly trustworthy, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. The person in this position will work independently to attain accurate processing and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Posting financial transactions in software as well as reconciling and reporting discrepancies found in the records.
  • Maintain files and records while moving towards a paperless environment.
  • Track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist in payroll processing and recording payroll JE's into the general ledger.
  • Handle office interactions with vendors and sometimes customers. This includes greeting and directing guests, answering phone inquiries and handling requests or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Creating and processing sales orders and purchase orders in a timely manner.
  • Billing to customers with an understanding of cost and gross margin.
  • Tying down payroll labor hours to job costing hours within the ERP system.
Qualification/Skills:
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Knowledge of integrated accounting software
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create and administer a task priority list based on company needs
  • Excellent analytical, computational and mathematical abilities
  • Ability to analyze a situation and understand the appropriate steps or processes to complete
Education and Experience:
  • Associates Degree, at a minimum, with courses in business/finance
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting/finance/purchasing
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with foreign exchange as related to US financial reporting
