General Accountant - Manufacturing Environment

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a General Accountant to support its growing finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a structured yet collaborative environment, assisting with key accounting functions, month-end close, and financial reporting. What You'll Do

As a core member of the finance department, you'll be responsible for:

• Preparing and posting journal entries as part of monthly and quarterly close.
• Performing account reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
• Assisting with balance sheet and P&L analysis.
• Supporting the preparation of internal financial reports and management summaries.
• Reviewing and assisting with accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Supporting the annual audit and other compliance requirements.
• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.

What You Bring

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working as part of a cohesive finance team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 3+ years of general accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based company.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting broader team goals.
