The Department of English at Virginia Tech invites applications for a Collegiate Assistant Professor of Literary Studies and Fiction Writing. We seek a colleague with the potential for excellence in teaching across literature and creative writing courses as well as a strong publication record (or potential for such) in literary studies or creative writing. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in the departments programs in literature and creative writing; courses in the creative writing MFA program may be assigned depending on the candidates qualifications and departmental need.
