We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project with a strong background in electrical construction to lead and execute complex, high-impact projects. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, strong project leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project planning, resource allocation, cost management, scheduling, and coordination with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams. This position will play a critical role in mentoring project teams, driving performance, and upholding company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Lead all phases of projects, including pre-construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
* Develop project budgets, track costs, approve invoices, manage change orders, and ensure financial targets are met.
* Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved and coordinating with field supervision and subcontractors to meet deadlines.
* Direct and support project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff. Promote collaboration, accountability, and team development.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and other trade partners. Manage communication, updates, and expectations throughout the project life cycle.
* Ensure all work meets project specifications, local codes, and industry standards. Oversee QA/QC procedures and resolve technical issues as needed.
* Oversees procurement of materials, equipment, and services. Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and performance.
* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor safety performance and ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, progress reports, and financial updates.
