Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Director, Product Targeting Strategy to Join a leading credit Union based in Mclean, VA. The Sr. Director, Product Targeting Strategy will lead and develop the consumer lending targeting framework, systems, and process strategies for targeted campaigns across credit cards, personal loans, and auto loan products. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA!
Responsibilities of the Sr. Director, Product Targeting Strategy include:
- Develop targeting strategies to grow consumer lending products beyond current membership.
- Collaborate with product partners and Decision Science teams to build targeting, propensity, and response models.
- Establish a rigorous, data-driven test-and-learn framework to improve marketing effectiveness and profitability.
- Oversee a team optimizing targeted direct mail, email, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Expand direct marketing programs to new members with a focus on positive selection and efficiency.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize segmentation for pre-approval and ITA campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to evolving platforms and data landscapes.
- Lead ROI analysis and effectiveness evaluations for marketing campaigns.
- Define and manage full analytic lifecycle to improve credit performance and campaign pull-through.
- Conduct research initiatives to validate segmentation and competitive positioning.
Qualifications for the Sr. Director, Product Targeting Strategy include:
- 12+ years of experience in targeted marketing campaign strategy and analytics.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Experience with consumer financial products (credit cards, auto loans, personal loans).
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and test-and-learn experiment design.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, offer generation platforms, and marketing solutions (Salesforce, Experian Ascend).
- Proficiency in SQL/R/Python, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
Compensation for the Sr. Director, Product Targeting Strategy includes:
- Salary: $180,000 - $200,000
