Join AECOM's Highway / Transportation Design Team in Roanoke, VA as a Civil Engineer - Transportation Design role. In this role the appropriate qualified person will work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects. Projects range from roadway and drainage design, highway and bridge projects, traffic engineering analysis, and transportation planning studies. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Develop design criteria, roadway geometry, traffic control, and signing and pavement markings, drainage systems, stormwater management. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects. Develop technical reports, tables, and graphics per client and/or internal AECOM standards. Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support project designs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Adhere to and promote AECOM quality procedures.
