Telephone Operator Highlights The pay for this position is $15.00 per hour. Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM Onsite position This position is a contract to hire. Responsibilities Courteously and efficiently answer all incoming calls, directing callers to the correct extensions. Take and relay messages accurately and promptly. Respond to emergencies and urgent patient calls in a timely manner, ensuring immediate connection to clinical staff when necessary. Perform operator functions including call triage, transferring calls, setting up conference calls, and instructing users on phone system procedures. Report telephone and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department. Provide professional, pleasant, and helpful phone interactions for all callers.
