Electrical Engineer Role

Salary: $125,000 - $162,000

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the design of complex electronic systems and embedded controllers

• Develop embedded systems with a strong focus on ARM-based platforms

• Design PCBs using Altium Designer and evaluate components for performance, availability, and lifecycle

• Create system interconnections including wiring harnesses and cables

• Conduct rigorous system testing for both hardware and software to ensure compliance

• Participate in prototyping, rework (including SMD), and system integration

• Ensure full lifecycle support across concept, design, testing, and implementation phases

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience

• Strong command of embedded systems development (ARM)

• Experience working with high-voltage (up to 1000 V) and high-current (up to 400 Amps) systems, including power electronics

• Familiarity with IGBTs, MOSFETs, and switching power supply design

• Deep understanding of analog design, Op Amps, ADCs/DACs, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI)

• Background in robotics, motor control, and kinematics is beneficial

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a project-driven environment

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required
  

Preferred But Not Mandatory:

• Background in the medical device or automotive industry

• Prior leadership or management experience

• Experience across full product lifecycle: design, manufacturing, and support

• Project leadership with visibility into post-production and compliance

Compensation:
$125,000-$162,000 per year
