Remote California Business Litigation Associate Attorney - Entry-Level to 4th+ Year

Placement Counsel is seeking a talented, growth-oriented 1st to 4th+ year business or IP litigation associate who is licensed in California and, ideally (but not required), has federal court experience. Candidates receiving bar results in November who have some litigation experience will be considered!

This well-respected, mid-sized litigation boutique firm has offices in Southern California, Seattle, San Francisco, New York, and Salt Lake City. The candidate who is selected for hire may work remotely, ideally from California.

Attorneys at this firm have litigated cases representing major corporate entities involving intellectual property, technology, advertising/marketing, Federal Trade Commission, and First Amendment issues, mostly in federal courts across the country. In any given year, the attorneys typically take one or more cases to trial, although most cases are resolved through the papers or on settlement -- the result of thoughtful litigation strategies and a strong focus on outstanding legal writing and analysis.

If you join the firm's team of attorneys, you will work together with senior lawyers to advise clients, draft and argue motions, analyze case strategies, negotiate with opposing counsel, prepare and respond to discovery, and go to trial in the limited instances where cases cannot be resolved short of trial.
