We are excited to welcome a new Orthodontic Care Assistant to our team. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dental care and creating memorable experiences for our patients. As a valued team member, you will:

  • Engage with your community through local events, school screenings, and presentations to promote our positive impact.
  • Participate actively in morning team meetings, sharing appreciation and celebrating customer-focused achievements.
  • Work joyfully with children, who make up 70% or more of our patient base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and high-quality care to every patient.
  • Assist and guide parents and patients through our treatment processes.
  • Educate patients about oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Take x-rays and manage patient charts.
  • Capture quality orthodontic facial photos and ensure operational readiness.
  • Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
  • Mix dental materials as needed and maintain sterile instruments and equipment.
  • Assist dental professionals during treatments.
  • Accurately document patient information and treatment plans.
  • Pour, trim, and polish impression casts.
  • Fabricate custom impression trays.
  • Uphold the highest integrity by adhering to all regulations and compliance programs.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (as required by state).
  • At least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting preferred.
  • CPR/BLS Certification required.
  • Willingness to travel within your designated territory.
  • Strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Compassionate with a high level of service for patients, parents, and staff.
  • Integrity, always adhering to ethical practices.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse tasks efficiently and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times.
