Hospitality Assistant Manager

In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our customers' shopping experience at Sheetz. You will ensure that top-tier customer service is at the heart of every operation in our stores.

As a leader, you'll manage customer experiences to uphold our Hospitality and Total Customer Focus standards across various aspects like inventory, preparation, service, and sales. You will also act as the manager when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Store Manager in recruitment, selection, training, and performance management of team members.
  2. Participate in staff scheduling decisions.
  3. Address customer questions, complaints, and concerns.
  4. Monitor team compliance with Sheetz policies and procedures.
  5. Review feedback from customer service shops, QA audits, secret shops, and SMG surveys.
  6. Ensure timely customer transactions and maintain store cleanliness to meet hospitality standards.
  7. Check completion of end-of-day tasks.
  8. Manage inventory efficiently through proper placement, pricing, and restocking of merchandise.
  9. Oversee profit management by checking processes such as shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, and vendor operations.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two-year degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • Completion of necessary certification testing.

Experience:

  • Preferred: One year of experience supervising staff in fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience settings.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • ServeSafe Certification.
  • Any other legally required certification.
