MEP Superintendent - Data Center Projects

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale data center projects. This role involves managing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and other mission-critical systems from coordination through commissioning. You'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a strong culture of safety and quality across all teams and subcontractors
• Oversee daily field operations, scheduling, and trade coordination
• Ensure proper sequencing of work, logistics planning, and material tracking
• Monitor installation progress, conduct inspections, and maintain project documentation
• Lead project scheduling efforts, track milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Mentor, develop, and manage project team members
• Build strong working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and design partners
• Support testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain project momentum

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience overseeing MEP trades on large commercial projects
• Previous experience working on data center projects
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and deliver projects on schedule and budget
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, safety, and quality control
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, etc.)
