Compensation Analyst (Remote)

Compensation: $90.00 - $175.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Remote

Hours: 2030/week, flexible but must overlap East and West Coast business hours

Compensation Consultant Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Compensation Consultant to support a global, enterprise-wide job and compensation architecture project. The contractor will work independently with internal teams to refine, develop, and implement a scalable job framework and compensation structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze existing job architecture, including job titles, responsibilities, and market pricing.
  • Design a scalable global job framework with families, levels, career paths, and standardized job descriptions.
  • Develop a market-competitive compensation structure, including salary ranges, pay grades, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements and labor category regulations.
  • Partner with HR, business leaders, and stakeholders to gain alignment and provide training/resources.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables while supporting change management and communications.
  • Analyze internal/external compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in compensation design and enterprise-wide job architecture projects.
  • Deep understanding of federal contracting requirements and global HR practices.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects independently.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with HRIS/compensation systems (e.g., Workday), compensation surveys (Mercer, Radford, WTW), and benchmarking tools (MarketPay, JDXpert).
