n. Responsible for the service and installation and testing of automatic Sprinkler fire suppression systems. Works with the service team to install new systems and inspect older sprinkler systems.n. Essential Functions:nn. Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to determine layout requirementsn. Installs clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipmentn. Connects piping system to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipmentn. Tests system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipmentn. Trains and directs the day to day work of a Helpern. Maintains appropriate documentation for the work performedn. Performs other duties as assignednn. Supervisory Responsibility: Non. Required:nn 1 years of experience as a Service Sprinkler Fitter; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experiencen.
