Description

Responsible for monitoring and improving upon the quality of manufactured products. Tests, measures, and evaluates manufactured products to ensure compliance with customer and company standards. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experiences and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using hand-held gauges.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure materials.
• Ability to write to routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organizations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Division of only positive numbers, averages, simple ratios, simple proportions, or rates.
