Receivers are responsible for handling and sorting incoming shipments. Receivers will track packages through use of RF (Radio Frequency) units. Must maintain a safe work environment, and meet quality standards for packaging and moving products. Operate multiple powered industrial equipment such as stand up/sit down forklifts, and the electric pallet jack. Audit inbound freight for accurate count, damages, and examine products to ensure damaged products are not used in assembly. Maintain discrepancy logs of each vendor and create scorecards for each. Work with inbound vendors to correct all discrepancies. Maintain and distribute reports. Use RF (radio frequency) units to scan barcodes. Relocate incoming shipment to identified location.
