n. The Plumber Mechanic provides guidance and direction to apprentices/helpers. Ensures job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained in every stage of the project.nn. Essential Functions:nn. Assembles, installs, layouts, and repairs pipes, fittings, equipment, and fixtures n. Tests pipes and fixtures using water and air to detect deficienciesn. Measures, cuts, threads, glues, solders, brazes, and slopes pipes composed of various materialsn. Installs hangers and supports for all plumbing systemsn. Performs other duties as assignednnn. Supervisory Responsibility: Nonn. Required:nn 2 years of experience in commercial field plumbing operations field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experiencen. Ability to read and interpret blueprintsn. Extensive knowledge of all plumbing systems installationn. Ability to fabricate offsets, install equipment, and perform basic take offsn.
