How Youll Help Transform Healthcare: The ED Psych Clinician provides services to patients with mental health complaints from adolescents through advanced adulthood in an emergency department setting. Services include initial assessment, crisis, individual and group therapy. Provides psychosocial assessments, interviews, and treatments and works closely with other healthcare team members, community resources, and regulatory agencies to facilitate the transition of patients from the ED to their next continuum of care. Serves as a patient advocate. Provide crisis, individual, family, and group therapy as directed. Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at adaptation throughout the continuum of care. Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients in the individual, family, and group setting. Coordinate the patient's treatment with the multidisciplinary treatment team, patient's family, referral source, and aftercare provider.
