n. The HVAC Installation Mechanic will perform skilled work in the installation of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.n. Essential Functions:nn. Installs commercial heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems including power wiring from load side of disconnect, control wiring, minor gas and condensate piping, refrigerant piping if needed, refrigerant recovery, duct and insulation, evacuation, charging, and test proceduresn. Sketches transitions and other duct fittings required to complete assigned workn. Requisitions material and supplies from stockroom and vendorsn. Performs brazing, soldering, pipefitting, and minor fabricationn. Establishes plan to complete jobs on time and to meet/beat budget estimatesn. Coordinates activities of assigned craft workersn. Interprets specifications, blueprints, drawings, and job ordersn.
