Summary:

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team! This position will be key in designing HVAC systems for various projects, including educational, civic, arts, and commercial buildings. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a commitment to mentoring junior staff members.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design HVAC systems for a variety of building types
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient and accurate project delivery
  • Mentor and support the development of junior engineers and staff
  • Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful completion
Required Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of professional experience is required
  • Proficiency in design load calculation and energy modeling programs (Trace, ComCheck)
  • Experience with Word and Excel
Education/Certification Qualifications:
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in REVIT
