Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join a National Restoration team as a Construction Project Director. This role is crucial for organizational success due to its dual responsibility for both estimating and sales closure. This highly compensated position offers a starting salary of $70,000 to $100,000 based on experience, with uncapped commission potential, where on-target earnings (OTE) are projected between $70,000 and $200,000. A vehicle allowance is also provided.

The Project Director is responsible for:

  • estimating, closing, and managing restoration projects, essentially functioning as the "quarterback"
  • ensure budgets and projects remain on track through completion
  • working directly with owners and managers of commercial, multifamily, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, and residential properties impacted by disasters, developing cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services
  • meeting and exceeding sales goals, overseeing revenue production
  • developing and maintaining project profit margins, and proactively managing accounts receivable and collections
  • networking and client entertainment, alongside strong estimating proficiency and a commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction through continuous communication with all stakeholders and internal teams

Requirements

The requirements are to have 4-5 years of business development/sales experience in the restoration or construction industry with a proven track record of sales growth. Candidates must have extensive construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience. Must be able to attend Business Development networking functions and have good command of Microsoft Office skills, Xactimate or other estimating software preferred. We are looking for someone who has strong written and verbal communication skills, strong knowledge of project management, and financial processes. OSHA certification is required!
