Are you detail-oriented with a passion for compliance, security, and operational excellence? The Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport Commission is seeking an Access & ID Manager to oversee our credentialing, access control, and compliance programs in one of the region's most dynamic environments.

In this critical role, you'll supervise the Access and ID Office, manage the issuance of security identification and employee access media, and serve as the Associate Airport Security Coordinator, helping ensure full compliance with TSA and Airport Security Program requirements.
What You'll Do

• Lead and manage daily operations of the Access & ID Office.
• Oversee airport badge issuance, audits, lock/key control, employee parking, and credentialing compliance.
• Serve as a trusted liaison with tenants, TSA, and internal stakeholders.
• Administer and maintain access control systems and surveillance tools.
• Collaborate with the Airport Security Coordinator and serve as backup ASC.
• Ensure regulatory excellence under 49 CFR Parts 1520, 1540, and 1542.

What You Bring

• Associate's degree in Administrative Support, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years of administrative or office management experience; supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of federal security regulations and TSA protocols.
• Advanced proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to qualify for TSA Trusted Agent and Alternate ASC status.

Preferred Training & Credentials

• FEMA IS courses: ICS-100, IS-700, IS-906, IS-907, and IS-546.12.
• Experience in credentialing, access control, or aviation security highly desirable.
