Job Summary:

The Assistant to the Plant Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth plant operations by providing administrative, analytical, and operational support. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and data analysis to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Plant Manager in daily operations, scheduling, and production planning.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making.
  • Monitor inventory levels, procurement needs, and material usage.
  • Work closely with department leads to track KPIs and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Coordinate communication between various teams, including engineering, logistics, and quality control.
  • Support health, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Assist in workforce scheduling, performance tracking, and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
