Description

The Meister is responsible for training operators to produce quality product and recognize and effectively inspect product in a safe, efficient manner that meets customer specifications. Must also measure results of training by evaluating performance effectiveness 30 days after training is complete. Train operators on proper procedures and methods of identifying various defects and distinguishing acceptable product according to customer specifications. Teach inspectors/operators the proper way to complete documentation and on the proper use of gages and other measuring equipment. Audits job instructions for accuracy and effectiveness. Updates training matrix for employees. Flexible schedule, overtime as needed. Other duties as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED. This position requires that you have experience and advanced skill in the area of responsibility. Good computer and problem solving skills. Good mechanical aptitude, experience with measuring equipment, calibers, etc. Good mathematical skills. Must possess the ability to train others and communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals. Must have the ability to work independently, have very good people skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Must meet the physical requirement of the position in each area.
