The Automotive Service Dispatcher is experienced and results-focused, responsible for dispatching work to technicians and maintaining daily schedules for all technicians.

Description:

* Distribute shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy

* Assign work to the correct technician level

* Ensure that technicians follow warranty policy and procedure guidelines

* Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures

* Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly

* Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms

* Maintain a record of carryover vehicles

* Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department

* Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion

* Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and properly documented

* Assists in all other areas of the Service Department

* Achieves the production objectives set by management

* Maintains high ethical standards in all actions
