CPR certification required.OverviewAs a Registered Vascular Sonographer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in an environment deeply committed to your personal well‑being and professional development within a setting renowned for clinical excellence.The Registered Vascular Sonographer performs a variety of technical imaging procedures and provides quality care to patients.Workdays will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hours may be 7am-5:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm. No weekends, no holidays, no on‑call. 4 10‑hour shifts available.ResponsibilitiesAssesses patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.Operates highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).Trains students and staff as assigned.Creates a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.Assesses data reflective of the patient status. Interprets information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs, and provides care per applicable policy and procedures.Interacts with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.QualificationsEducation: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.Experience: noneLicensure, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography.
