About Us

Our Macado's Construction crew specializes in commercial facility maintenance and building of restaurants. Our work keeps kitchens cooking, dining rooms comfortable, buildings as well as restaurant equipment in excellent shape. We're expanding and looking for a hardworking and skilled Construction Crewman / Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.

This role is ideal for a jack-of-all-trades who enjoys variety in their work-from HVAC and electrical troubleshooting to patching drywall and painting. Some Key responsibilities can include the following:

HVAC Service & Installation

• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including rooftop units and split systems
• Diagnosing basic system issues

Restaurant Equipment Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on commercial kitchen appliances (fryers, ovens, grills, dishwashers, etc.)
• Support repairs for refrigeration systems, walk-in coolers, and ice machines

Drywall & Painting

• Perform drywall installation, patching, sanding, and finishing
• Paint interior walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to professional standards

Basic Electrical Work

• Troubleshoot and repair light electrical issues such as outlets, switches, lighting, and appliances
• Assist with wiring and component replacements

General Construction Support

• Assist with minor carpentry, fixture installations, and facility upgrades
• Help with commercial remodeling or buildout tasks when needed

Preventive Maintenance & Facility Upkeep

• Complete routine inspections and maintenance checks
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments on job sites

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday. Full-time position which typically requires up to 40 hours per week.

PAY RATE: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• Comfortable with lifting
• HVAC repair experience preferred
• Available for occasional overnight travel
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Occasional weekends and nights
